The past two years have been a real roller coaster for me, I have gone through what some term my ‘beautiful destruction’. I have been trying to figure out why, what is the lesson? The universe always answers our questions, sometimes it takes us a while to filter the answers through all the noise going on in our heads, and in our lives.
Many years ago I read the book The Writings of Florence Scovel Shinn, and at the time a lot of it made sense, but some of it did not resonate with me completely. Recently the book has been on my mind a lot, so I decided to re-read it. WOW! So much more makes sense, so much more resonates with me, and it is scary how much of the book I have forgotten.
The universe has answered my question in a very subtle way, I was on the right path all those years ago when I read the book, then life derailed me. I believe I am now going through my ‘beautiful reconstruction’ and while it is daunting, and sometimes even scary, I find peace in sharing, and knowing I am not alone.
We are conditioned to only believe what we can sense with our five earthly senses. We forget about our sixth sense, our intuition, our connection with the universe, our super consciousness. We are never alone, divine guidance is ours whenever we need it.
Life is so much more than a game, it is an adventure, and I feel truly privileged to be able to experience the adventure.
